Welding techniques
Our certified welders can use an array of welding techniques to suit your application — SMAW, GMAW, TIG, FCAW and SAW.
GTAW
TIG welding is used to make precise, critical welds for joining metals such as mild steel, aluminum, or stainless steel. It supports jobs for welding of piping and when minimum deflection is to be achieved after welding. Very fine beads are produced for achieving high quality welding.
SMAW
Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), also known as manual metal arc welding, is a manual arc welding process that uses a consumable and protected electrode. As the electrode melts, a cover that protects the electrode melts and protects the weld area from oxygen and other atmospheric gases. SMAW is used to achieve faster welding compared to GTAW.
FCAW
Moving towards latest technologies, Qadbros Engineering has added FCAW technology in the welding section. This technique helps to produce high quality welding with high deposition. FCAW provides faster welding compared to GTAW and SMAW. Capability also includes GMAW for application-fit joining.
SAW
Qadri Group has Submerged Arc Welding technology in the welding section. This technique helps to produce high quality welding with high deposition for heavy fabrication joints.

Rolling, powder coating and white metalling — facilities that complete fabrication for mill and plant equipment.
Rolling
Facility of rolling machine which supports plate bending having thickness up to 40 mm. Three rollers support manufacturing of all types of jobs when bending of plates is required.
Roll bending: length 3 m, diameter 5 m — 20 mm thickness cold roll, 30 mm thickness hot roll.
Coating
Powder coating (hard facing) for Mill Max scrapers & nose plates — a facility at Qadbros apart from welding techniques.
Bearing
White metalling on bearing housings for sugar mills, cement plants and power plants — with UST 90% bonding to parent metal.

Future development
At Qadbros Engineering, we are moving towards advanced technologies which is the major requirement of the near future. To meet those requirements, we are going to install a CNC Plasma & Oxyfuel Cutting Machine which will create a major change in the fabrication facility — so the organization can work more actively for provision of quality products to clients as a leader in fabrication.
This machine cuts the critical profiles of MS & SS material in very less time, providing the best results for material cutting.
